Confidentiality Acknowledgment

Ryan Martin, operating as Full Bleed Press (“Full Bleed Press”)
Version 1.0

A private first look.

Ryan Martin, operating as Full Bleed Press, may share unpublished scripts and related materials so you can consider a potential collaboration.

By checking the acknowledgment box on our inquiry form, you agree to the following terms for confidential materials shared with you afterward.

What is confidential?

Confidential materials include unpublished scripts, outlines, story notes, and related project documents that Full Bleed identifies as confidential or that are clearly shared privately for your review.

Public website descriptions and materials we have intentionally released publicly are not confidential.

How you may use the materials

You may read the materials and discuss them privately with Ryan Martin to decide whether you would like to collaborate with Full Bleed Press.

Without written permission, you will not:

  • Share, forward, post, sell, or distribute the materials.

  • Publish, produce, or adapt the script.

  • Use the materials for another project or commercial purpose.

  • Upload the materials to generative-AI services, public repositories, or other services that make them available to others or use them for model training.

You may keep reasonable private copies for review. Use reasonable care to prevent unauthorized access.

You may share materials with a legal adviser who needs to review them and is bound by professional confidentiality obligations.

What is excluded?

These confidentiality restrictions do not apply to information you can demonstrate:

  • Was already lawfully known to you without a confidentiality obligation.

  • Becomes public through no breach of this acknowledgment.

  • Is independently developed without using the confidential materials.

  • Is lawfully received from someone entitled to disclose it.

This acknowledgment does not prevent you from creating your own independent stories or working with similar general themes, genres, or subjects.

Required and protected disclosures

You may disclose information when required by law or a valid legal order. Where legally permitted, notify Ryan Martin beforehand and disclose only what is required.

Nothing here prevents lawful reporting of suspected wrongdoing to an appropriate government authority or attorney, or any disclosure protected by law.

How long does confidentiality last?

The confidentiality obligations last for two years from the date each material is shared, unless that material becomes public sooner through an authorized release or another exclusion above applies.

The end of confidentiality does not grant permission to publish, adapt, or otherwise use copyrighted material.

If we do not move forward

Either party may decide not to collaborate.

If Ryan Martin requests it, delete or return the confidential materials and your working copies. Copies required by law, held by your legal adviser, or retained in routine inaccessible backups may remain subject to these confidentiality restrictions for the applicable period.

Please notify Ryan Martin promptly if you discover an accidental disclosure.

No transfer of rights or commitment

Receiving a script does not give you ownership, publishing rights, a reserved project, or a promise of payment.

No drawing or other production work is required at this stage. Any collaboration will be covered by a separate written agreement.
